My body fat dipped to a place that’s ideal even for women much younger than me…I was able to fit in my size 24 jeans that I was not able to fit in for a couple years! No written words justify the feelings I had when I was able to zip up those jeans.
I was able to lose body fat and gain lean muscles (little did I know previously that the number on the scale is not all that matters) at the same time within a couple months of training regularly with Brittany.
I had been working out on my own (light cardio and group fitness classes) for about a year prior to working with Brittany. Armed with little knowledge in strength and weight training, I was unable to shed the extra few pounds I wanted to shed. It was frustrating at times. It may just be 5-10 lbs but it makes a huge difference on my small 5’2″ frame! I started buying “fat jeans” which utterly motivated me to start working out with a trainer and having a more mindful diet.
I decided to work with Brittany because she was professional during the initial consultation session. She was a good listener which I believe sets the premise of being able to help me achieve my goals. On top of that, she seemed to possess the educational background and experience for the specific goals I had: become leaner and stronger.
When we started, Brittany had a calendar set out for me in terms of % of strength training, interval cardio (not all cardio routines are created equal!), regeneration workout (barre & yoga), and HIIT I should aim for on a weekly basis. I followed that formula with small variation from week to week. I was able to lose body fat and gain lean muscles (little did I know previously that the number on the scale is not all that matters) at the same time within a couple months of training regularly with Brittany. My body fat dipped to a place that’s ideal even for women much younger than me. Not to mention that it was noticeable physically in the mirror and on the scale. Clothes started to fit better on me. I was able to fit in my size 24 jeans that I was not able to fit in for a couple years! No written words justify the feelings I had when I was able to zip up those jeans. I have since purchased more size 24 jeans. Gotta keep those coming to keep me motivated! 🙂
I like how adaptive Brittany is. She customizes the programs for each individual. No two clients are the same. Even for the same client, I could see how she adapted to my progress over time and any unforeseen situation like injuries. She is a good listener which again is probably one of the most important qualities. In the end, it’s about what a client wants for himself/herself. With that said, she also stands up for things she believes that will benefit her client and tries to get her point across. You ought to admire that. Too bad that she moved away! I absolutely recommend Brittany’s services.
